A song by xaris alexiou teli teli teli if someone can translet this song to english please'''
The lyrics are these but I don't know what "τέλι" means...
The most charming creatures on this earth. The only women who can show what they feel and, they do feel.
Stunning feeling...to just meet them.
aha, just found the unknown word: http://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/gr...teli-teli.html

Sotiri, number 8 should be: "don't think aloud"
Ahaaa, thank you Filippe

Hi
got the lyric but did not get the translation to english. Thank you tnyway
wow i still have that old vinyl record of Haris Alexiou with that song on it....back then i didn't know the meaning of Teli either...live and learn..
@Tassos
still you are in a better position than I am I listened to that song, let's say hundreds of times (?) but never asked myself "what does that mean?..." But anyway, there is a lady here who always says that I'm dumb...so maybe I really am
@fotia
I'd swear that I saw a translation of this song here in ATL about a year ago (soon after I posted the lyrics a strong "deja vu" appeared in my mind), but I can't find it...I didn't translate it to avoid a duplicate translation...
Maybe a mod can verify if it exists or not?

Well ... some mod can verify that it doesn't
But hey .... this is a link to song's translation from stixoi.info -> http://www.stixoi.info/stixoi.php?in...ails&t_id=3038
Before reading the above translation keep in mind that:
"Τέλι τέλι" means "chord after chord", and describes somebody's efforts to learn a music instrument (eg. guitar)
The procedure takes time but "reveals" instrument's "habbits".
The same way the lyricist Pithagoras wrote that he learnt everything about the "fake world".
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"
Sotiris,
i think you are right about seeing that song translated on here I remember seeing a post where someone was asking for it.
