    Default Zabranjeno pusenje

    Hi ana.
That would be so great if you could help me here. I have really been wondering what those words mean for some time now. I have been singing the song live on stage severel times earlier this year, feeling like a complete idiot not knowing what I was singing about. It was in a first year project at the danish theaterschool doing a Dejan Dukovski play. I played this maniac type custumer in a *****house trying to ruin the love affair between one the girls and a guy in a mask. And one of the things I did to distract their attention from each other was singing this song madly loud on the *****house karaeoke system. We found this song and thought it was brilliant for the purpuse, but it was never our intention that I should perform it totally unknowing what it was about, we just never found someone who could help translating it before the premiere.
It would very nice to come to school one of the days now beeing able to tell my collegues what message we actually sent out with this scene...
    Hope to hear from you.

zbog tebe ja mrzim ´zivot svoj,

    (thanks Mujo)

    Radu je me jedna istina,
    (Makes me joy one truth)
iz KPDoma vrati ´cu se ja,
    (from KPDom i will return)
    ali hakija nikad ne´ce sabara,
(but Hakija wil never from Bara)
    sabara se niko nevra´ca!
(from Bara no one is returning)
    Ali hakija nikad ne´ce sabara,
(but Hakija wil never from Bara)

Ok its a song whit lot of slang in it and some short words. KPD-om is short from Kazneno poprani Dom that menas "Penalty Rehabilitation Home". Hadzija is a one who goes to visit holy land but here the mening of hadzuja is like a man who suffered and lived all, strong man.(my wife * Kreco Hakija)..its left out the word on pepose cose it is understand ..its f*.
"Other "Sa Bara" Bare is a name of graveyard in Sarajevo.
So its a blues of a convict who killed a Hakiju cose he was messing around with his wife.He went to jail for 12 years and this Hadzija went to graveyard.
Now you will know whot you perform.

Wow this is really something, its brilliant! So far away from what I imagined. I was sure it was a fun song about sex and so, like a limeric or something, but this is so much better. Cant wait to tell my director. Thank you! So much!
