Post The Great Bouzouki (Vocal Radio Edit) - Krid P

    Hi (:

I know its a bit of a silly song that doesn't actually have many lyrics other than sparse shouting but could someone please post the greek from the song (preferably phonetically) with the english translation as well?

http://jump-on-it.tumblr.com/post/31140106688 (You can find the song here)

    Thank you!!

    Exclamation attempt numero uno

I've tried my hand at translating my self (with the help of google translate - not entirely reliable) I'd really appreciate it if someone could confirm/correct some of these. As the lyrics repeat its only these few words but what i've got so far is:

    Opa
    Pame Paithia Lets go children
    Oloi mazi All together

Yiasou manoli me ti pena sou Hello Manoli with your pen? (not sure?)
    Ela Manoli! Come Manoli
Pame les? Saying let's go (??)
Na na na na na na na na
    Opa
    Ygia mas Cheers
Exo̱ Bouzoukaki Out little bouzouki (i think?)

Kymithikate re Have you gone to sleep re ?
Ochi To̱ra Anevainoume No we are getting up (??)

These are probably all failures and nothing near the real translation, but yeah thank you (:

    Opa
    Pame Paithia/ Lets go guys!
    Oloi mazi/ Everyone together

Yiasou manoli me ti pena sou/ Cheers Manolis with your pen ("pen" reffers to the thing used to play instruments like the guitar, bouzouki in this case)
    Ela Manoli!/ Go Manoli!
Pame les?/ Do you think we should go?
Na na na na na na na na
    Opa
    Ygia mas/ Cheers
    Exo Bouzoukaki/ I have a little bouzouki

Kymithikate re/ Have you gone to sleep you guys?
Ochi Tora Anevainoume/ No, now we are livening up

Additional notes: "Geia mas" and "stin ygeia mas" are translated as cheers. They litteraly mean "to our health". With that you wish good health to someone, and if you are drinking, you raise the glass and say it (just like cheers). When you are having a good time and you say that, I think the meaning is that you are enjoying yourself at that point so you wish to always be healthy so that they'll be more such times.

As for "opa" there's no accurate translation, but I think you get the meaning!
