New Account, New Song, Good to be back!!

Hey this is Saybers Lyricals with a new account owned by me and my mate, meaning the rhymes should be a little better now, anyway here is a song we wrote recently. The verses being rapped and the chorus sung, tell us what you think.

Set the stage for an act of pure innocence,
Turning a blind eye to humanity’s ignorance
We’re telling all these lies and it’s not coming cheap
Each lie is a life, another set of dreams,
Another average family losing hours of sleep
In a graveyard shift that doesn't seem to end,
When hypocrisy is our leaders best friend…
When the only thing he can do is say “I promise,”
While putting down anybody who notices this...

The shadows will overtake
There has to be another way, I know there is some way
There is a reason to look at ourselves and wash the guilt away
This world won’t fall…not without a fight!

Nobody hears the silent screaming
And nobody sees the nonstop bleeding
People will start to laugh at a suicide
Until they get betrayed by their excuse for a life
The air is polluted by their auto-tune raped music
Along with the odors from the drugs they can’t stop doing
The cries for help go unheard, because the points of authority won’t say a word
It’s against the law to get up and say something but its lazy and spineless to sit and do nothing

I like it. Doesn't even sound like a rap song. This is a strong set of all-around lyrics; meaning I feel you could apply these (most of these anyway) to almost any genre of music. Good job guys.

I like the lyrics a lot. Really nice cadence extending beyond the rhyme scheme.. great syllable placement and assonant flow. Perhaps a few more multis wouldn't go amiss, but that's just my personal preference. Either way it's solid stuff. The concept's done well, potent without sounding overly preachy for the mostpart. Keep it up and consider getting some stuff recorded to audio.
