Söz veriyorum, her şey çok güzel olacak, sadece sen ve ben...
ITS THE LYRICS OF THIS SONG OF MIRI MESIKA FROM 1:28 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9jB9cgOa6c
The original is by Shimon Buskila :-)
היום הזה הוא התחלה
This day is the beginning
בדף חדש אתה נוגע
You touch a new page
ביום הזה תישא תפילה
On this day, you say a prayer
תדע שיש מי ששומע
Make sure you know - there's someone listening
אל תוותר מיד
Don't give up straight away
ויש לך מרחק ללכת
And you have a distance to go
אל תוותר מיד
Don't give up straight away
אם לא עכשיו אולי עוד שנה
If not today, maybe in one year from now
היום הזה הוא התחלה
This day is the beginning
תחשוב אתה יכול אחרת
Think that you can, differently
והתשובה לשאלה
And the answer to the question
בתוכך היא מסתתרת
Is hidden inside you
אל תפחד עכשיו
Don't be scared now
כי לא אבדה לך הדרך
Because you haven't lost your way
אל תפחד עכשיו
Don't be scared now
אם לא היום אולי עוד שנה
If not today, maybe in one year from now
עולם מוזר
A strange world
כולו שלך
It's all yours
כשהתקווה בלב בוערת
When the hope burns in the heart
יש בדידות
There's loneliness
יש כאב
There's pain
והתקווה איתך נשארת
And the hope stays with you
אל תאבד אותה
Don't lose it
תשמור עליה
Keep it
ומה יהיה מחר
And what happens tomorrow
אין איש יודע
There's nobody who knows
היום הזה אתה ראשון
This day, you're first
בעצמך אתה בחרת
You've chosen yourself
ביום הזה הניצחון
On this day, the victory
בעצם זה שלא נשברת
Is actually just the fact that you haven't been broken
אל תתייאש עכשיו
Don't get exhausted now
האמונה אותך שומרת
The faith keeps you
אל תתייאש עכשיו
Don't get exhausted now
גם אם חלפה עברה עוד שנה
Even if a whole year has passed
עולם מוזר...
A strange world...
Thank you. I listened to Shimon Buskilo version too, liked the orchestration. What do "shav" and "shomea" -or things that sound like that, don't know- mean, I hear these words in every Hebrew song.
Söz veriyorum, her şey çok güzel olacak, sadece sen ve ben...
No problem :-)
Shomea = listen/listening in male, singular, present tense (eg: I listen/am listening, you listen/are listening, he listens/is listening).
Shav = return/come back in male, singular present tense. But it isn't used that commonly, as the verb "chozer" means basically the same thing and is used more frequently. I would guess that the word you're hearing in every song is actually "achshav" which means "now" :-D
"shav shé" etc I hear a lot Thank you
