    Default Oblivion

This is kind of a different song for me (at least in my opinion). It starts out acoustic until the chorus and then comes in with heavy drums and some metal-like riffs. The music is very ominous and creepy thanks to my guitar effects pedal and delay and chorus effects. I hope you enjoy this song/story.

    Oblivion

Leave the whispers in the wind
    Echoing the story
    Lost man in oblivion
    Never again to be free

    He finds himself the stranger
To this place that he’s never been
    Shadows creep on the corner
    Enter oblivion

The air is cold and the light is dim
    Making it hard to see
    He finds himself surrounded
    He will never leave…

And as the world around him dies
There’s nothing left keeping his hope alive
So he fades away…as the shadows take his place

    Chained down are the beaten
Stained souls of the weak and
The sight becomes too much for him to see

    The silence, is breaking
No breath left to take and
He is slowly suffocating on his screams

    He’s empty, forsaken
    Enslaved by his mistakes in
His life, his mind is bending ‘til it breaks

And now he’s letting go….he’s let go

And as the world around him dies
There’s nothing left keeping his hope alive
So he fades away…and the shadows take his place

    None of his strength remains
    And he will slowly die
Not a chance to be saved
    Never to know why
We're a little bit stranger on the inside

You can thank Frankie Jasmine for "teaching"me about the value of Songs/Poems that have something other than "a rhyme"to redeem it.This tells a story,a good one at that. And I think that's more than enough for a successful Song Lyric. This I Love.I'm starting to think we've got a resident genius here!
