I think you have 2 song ideas wrapped in one...United we stand .....and keep the dream alive
2 very strong statements with a lot 2 say about each. I would pull one line from the song and write a song aroundthat hook. For this one I would write a sentence saying what the song is about. Then go line by line and ask yourself does it reflect the sentence you wrote....also since your verses are serious you could make the chorus lines shorter to lighten up the lyric.
