This was written as a paradox of time and age and timelessness of the human soul which i believe has no beginning or end, which can lead to a lot of questions, but the only question that can be answered is who and where we are in the present moment, and that is always determined by what and where we used to be, even just moments ago. We are an always changing sum that is never completed.
I am just a baby
Though I've been where you are now.
Looking back I don't ask why
And it's no mystery how
I came to be this person
Who is not the same as then...
It's all because the future asked
To be replayed again.
But every time it runs its course
I see a different you
And I'm no longer who I was,
I'm born to something new.
I am just a baby
But I've lived a thousand lives
And I see nothing new although
each journey brings surprise.
Time is twisted round itself
And future is the past,
But every re-volution
Wants itself to be the last.
So here I am as me now
And be sure that I won't miss,
Each time we meet again,
The simple pleasure of your kiss.
