I'd really appreciate some help; the mystery behind this has been driving me up the wall.

But yeah. I'm looking for a song by a female (probably) singer with a deep, slightly gravelly voice. The song's sorta slow, has some bass - soulish. The only lyrics I can call to mind, the chorus, sound like "Hooold on, hold on. Carry on, carry on."

As I said, I heard this on and before November 4th, 2012 in the shoe department.

    Help!

    Could it be this song?

    "Starry Eyed" by Ellie Goulding

That's most definitely not it, I'm afraid. Her voice is much, much too high. Plus, it doesn't have that slow, bass-heavy soul feel to it.

Can you provide a link to it, by any chance? Because I can't find it, searching the web. o.o

I think Diana Villegas is talking about this:

Afraid that's another miss. The song I'm looking for isn't dancey like this, and bears absolutely no resemblance to rap. :/
