This fine piece of TESHKA made me plunge into her different poems, though here I tend to hear it declamated by either a male or female voice to the accompaniment of rhythmical music.

Zakynthos wrote a poem which describes in her original style mankinds' terrible failures.

    Goosebumps.

amaryn thank you so much, tbh i had forgotten about that one but i remember the mood that led me to write that...it was a very off-normal moment but after reading it again i have to say that it has a lot of lasting personal significance.

These lines are my favorite and they even define the entire poem as i was feeling it at the time, and as i still feel it...

Give me what you cant undo
then take me in as part of you
Tell a lie and make it true...

In case its not easy to grasp, what i meant was that i want the kind of love that is totally committed and takes one past the point of no return...give me what you can't undo.... and to hell with the consequence, as long as he and i have each other then nothing else matters bcs we can make our world as we want it to be....tell a lie and make it true.
Music is what feelings sound like
    Listen to the Love

Creepy, well-executed song that impressed me a lot! If a poem, song, book, or movie is creepy, I'd much prefer to be scared by frights of reality than the supernatural. OWO.

We all know OrchestraInside is pretty talented and all, but sometimes his writings are too fine for a simple minded girl. However I actually adore this post so I'm going to quote it again (and again and again)

You're making me blush, Noor. I'm glad others enjoy the title piece as much as I do myself

I thought it was a cave you hibernate in.

Dont worry. I just thought you'd have gotten bored by now of hearing the same things so decided I'd tell others instead.

    I upgraded recently.

I thought this was already in the thread, hence my reaction... Then checked and sure enough, it wasn't - I got it mixed up with my own thread. These comments clutter the thread for no purpose, don't they - might as well delete them?

Problem with deleted comments is that they leave an unsightly deleted bar across the page. I could move them all to an off-topic thread, but honestly? I think my comments are very important so I wont.

Anyways, I brought it to this thread so as not to litter yours any more, surely you cant be objecting to me disrupting Frankie too?

If this thread were the roaring success I'd hoped it would be, I'd be asking you all to "hold it down!" As it is, I'm just happy for the company . . . !!!

Discovered a while ago the poetry of the Experimentalist: I particularly recommend:

    DEAD LOVE

It is another proof of the power of honesty in writing. Thanks, Experimentalist

Amazing Czech poet Jaroslav Seifert..Well it does sound better in Czech still....

    DANCE OF THE GIRLS’ CHEMISES

    A dozen girls’ chemises
    drying on a line,
    floral lace at the breast
like rose windows in a Gothic cathedral.

    Lord,
shield Thou me from all evil.

    A dozen girls’ chemises,
    that’s love,
innocent girls’ games on a sunlit lawn,
    the thirteenth, a man’s shirt,
    that’s marriage,
ending in adultery and a pistol shot.

The wind that’s streaming through the chemises,
    that’s love,
our earth embraced by its sweet breezes:
    a dozen airy bodies.

Those dozen girls made of light air
are dancing on the green lawn,
gently the wind is modelling their bodies,
breasts, hips, a dimple on the belly there --
    open fast, oh my eyes.

Not wishing to disturb their dance
I softly slipped under the chemises’ knees,
and when any of them fell
I greedily inhaled it through my teeth
    and bit its breast.

    Love,
which we inhale and feed on,
    disenchanted,
love that our dreams are keyed on,
    love,
that dogs our rise and fall:
    nothing
    yet the sum of all.

    In our all-electric age
nightclubs not christenings are the rage
and love is pumped into our tyres.
    My sinful Magdalen, don’t cry:
Romantic love has spent its fires.
    Faith, motorbikes, and hope.
