    Debeaux, I am absolutely agnostic, so I would have stopped at "tears" and let the decision up to the readers.
    However, you choose this solution, and so be it.
    My parents are very religious, so I'm familiar with these thoughts.
    I take it trying to be a good person, human, though imperfect, is a huge task for us all

    Thanks Doug. After rereading this a few times I think you and amaryn are right. I never thought of it as a Blues song but you're right, it could work.
