Old German recording

Hi. I have had an old tango song that I really like and I've been trying to figure out what it's called and who it's by for a long time. The recording is obviously pretty old, and I don't speak German, but I did recognize a few words that sounded german.

If anyone happens to know the song (probably unlikely) or if anyone is able to translate a portion of the lyrics, it would greatly help me in my search.

Hi Dan, I am in a hurry now, but I will come back to this later and try to figure it our. It´s definetelly german, but as if it is an old recording and by the special way of singing I cannot understand every word. But I will wirte down, what I hear, and maybe this way you can find out artist/ complete lyrics.

Although I could have had a go first on this, I thought it's better to let you do the first step, for it's usually those very fragments of yours that I can't make out, giving me the missing pieces in the jigsaw puzzle. (And indeed, I needed those badly.) Thanks for these

Just from listening...
- Period: DEFINITELY 1920s ... 1940s
- Medium: most likely Shellac, 78 RPM
- Song genre: could even be a song from a (revue) film.
Songs that are similar to this from this era were by Robert Stolz and by Fred Raymond ("Maske In Blau").
- I think this operetta-like way of singing is called "Belcanto" which was even common before the 1920s. (whereas a pre-1920s Edison Amberol cylinder recording would not sound so clear IMO!)
