A friend of mine from work (UMGD) were talking about
how there are a lot of great musicians out there and
it seems they don’t get enough praise and credit they
deserve. Richard Bona being one of them. He is such an
amazing bassist, vocalist and composer. I watched his
dvd American Tale and it blew my mind. His story is
truly amazing and inspirational. Over the years he has
become one of the most in-demand collaborators on the
international jazz scene working with remarkable
artists like Paul Simon, Harry Belafonte, Queen
Latifah, Larry Coryell, Mike Stern, Herbie Hancock,
Kenny Garrett, Regina Carter and more. I just wanted
to shine some light on his amazing talent. What are
your thoughts on him?
