I will be forever greatful to anybody who speaks good Turkish to translate this song for me . ESMER by Erkan Guleryuz, Lyrics by the one and only genious of Turkish Music Sezen Aksu. Even though i don't get the lyrics since my Turkish is still basic,this song says everything about how sad i've been this past year 2012 for not being able to go back to Turkey.

Even though I don't get the lyrics right from this song since my Turkish is still basic, It reflects how sad i've been this past year 2012 for not being able to go back to Turkey again.

* I used "red blood" for "deli kan" here. "Deli kanım" literally means "my crazy blood". However, there is also a Turkish word such as "delikanlı" which means a red-blooded, young man who is brave and physically strong, and the man singing the song tries to tell that he is red-blooded (however, with no reference to sexual intercourse! he just says that he is a young, brave and strong man). Thus, I tried to use the most appropriate word for it.
