    Default Grammar question

I am listening to the Pimsleur Portuguese CD's and have a question:

For saying "to you", the speaker seems to be using a word that I cannot find anywhere. It sounds like "Chi" (am not sure how it is spelled).

"O que ele chi disse?" (what did he tell you?)

I thought one uses the word "lhe" for "to you" and "to him/her"

    Hello!

chi = te (object form of the pronoun >you-familiar<, in portuguese: one forme for >tu<, second person singular pronoun form).

O que ele TE disse? (what did he tell you?)
