    Hi,

    Can somebody help me find a song that has a refrain with lines: "in the name of love" and "in the name of passion". Stylistically it sounds like 1980s Eurodisco, similar to Modern Talking. Male singer, with a rather high voice. I just heard it today on the radio, so it could be a new song, although it sounded like from the 1980s.

    It is NOT any of the following U2 "Pride", Supremes "Stop in the name of love", Thompson Twins "In the name of love", Mark Ashley "In the name of love".

    When you say 'high voice' are we talking about:
    a Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) high
    an Andy Bell (Erasure) high
    or a Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat/The Communards) high?

    Among those three, the singer of Spandau Ballet is certainly the closest to the one I'm searching. When I say high voice, I don't mean high like Jimmy Sommerville. A rather manly voice, but soft, and in this song it went quite high, occasionally.

    Try "In The Name Of Passion" by Anika (not a male singer)
    Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

    Thanks, but Anika "In the Name of Passion" is not it. The Anika seems to be a 90s techno thing. But the one I'm looking is more like 80s eurodisco.
