Life is just the journey
Not the final destination.
Dynamical philosophy
Is not just an equation.
Galactical recurrences
Are products of the Sun
But playing with the future
Is both dangerous and fun.

The paradoxes in this verse
Are not a mystery
We think we know just where to go
But look at history.
The neural network in our head
Is spinning what will come
But blinders keep us guessing
What already has been done.

The narratives are endless
But the outcome is the same:
Linear progression
Doesn't even know your name.
Infinity in session
Hears the ticking of the clock
And infantile regression
Is just a temporal stumbling block.

Chaos hard at work
Is busy making life from dirt
And its unpredictabilities
Should keep us on alert.
Tomorrow is one outcome
But the paths we take are not.
Future is as present does
So bring the best you've got.

I agree: This is a psych-twister that can take several trains of thought... e.g., "religion versus science", even religion versus itself, and pure philosophy versus the cold hand of reality.
