I think the first one is Steve Miller's "The Joker" but your lyrics state "broker" so maybe not.

The second one sounds like "A Long December" by Counting Crows.

yeah it's the joker-stever miller. i made up the word broker. haha. it's actually toker i think. well it rhymes with broker and toker.
