I do understand that the name means "love is like a pin/brooch". What is meant exactly with this, that it is sharp and can sting? Or that it can be applied and easily taken off again?

I should explain first, just so you know, that βρε means sth like "hey you" and αμάν means "oh my!". I won't include them in the translation.

You don't remember damn you the words we told.

To take you and to take me (to go away) we agreed.

Love is a pin that stings the heart.

And it stung me too, and I can't find cure.

Your lovely eyes makes you look desirable.

But they have a fault, they can't keep a secret.
