haha thx vandi, my mums also got that as her ringtone lol! i got most of that artist's songs in farsi aswell because he sings both and theyre really beautiful..let me know if u want any

Hello Ecoliqua, no you dont have to install any program or sign up, you just have to enter the 3 letters they give u (for i.e. LRS) and next to it click the download button and it should countdown saying "Please wait 40 seconds.." or something then it will say "click here to download" and then u can save it

Well, I have been listening to some of the musics you posted there and, for me assirian sounds pretty much like farsi but with an slightly different accent... or could it be that there were assirian people singing in farsi :-)

I was also reading about assirians. I didnt know you were not muslims and that most of you are now dispersed thorough the world. Is sad the degree of intolerance that exist in the world. Now I am starting to understand a bit more why is so important for you to know exactly where do you come from, and where do your parents come from, and the parents of your parents... and which ethnia do you belong to.

Lol thats cool, I hope you liked them. Yeah, I guess you could say farsi and assyrian music are very similar which is why I absolutely LOVE farsi music because its kind of like the other half haha and our cultures are pretty similar so yeah...

Yeah assyrians are christians not muslims and most of us (like me) live in the diaspora but yeah in the end I dont really put religion into matter because we were all once brothers and sisters and we are of human race (lol). I prefer to be optimistic and look to our similar aspects not opposite.

So if I am correct, you are from Spain? (hope I got that right hehe :P)...out of curiousity, how did you get into Farsi music from such a far away place?

Ill upload them to another server just for u vandi xX ..the assyrian alphabet is very easy to learn, it is a dialect of the aramaic alphabet (the language of jesus similar to hebrew and mandaean) just like the arabic alphabet derived off ours which is why i can read and understand some arabic and also farsi but instead of v in the hebrew alphabet we say w (vay = way or baklava = baklawa etc.) but varies with the different millets so if you are an assyrian from iran you would replace w with v or in turkey you would replace p with f and so forth..here is a link Welcome to The Assyrian Aramaic Language Website if u want (its also how i learn it but shh lol)
