    Default World of Pain

Waking up I took a look around
And man I was disgusted at what I found
    Lies, hate, racism, pain
The list goes on it drives me insane
And to know that I’m a part of it, it hurts to remember
That everyday I’m a part of it from January to December
12 months 52 weeks 365 days of the year
Someone somewhere is living in fear
    Fear of hate and discrimination
What are we we’re supposed to be one nation
How can a nation stand on wounded pillars?
What we don’t know is our words are the killers
    A house divided cannot stand
But if we the people lend a hand
    We can end this pain
This menace can finally be slain
This pain that has us on our knees
The cripples the world from sea to shining seas
Now imagine a world where pain wasn't in our midst
Where we don’t fight with our words or fists
A world a nation finally on peaceful ground
Where we the people, us no longer bound.

Taylor Bell, this is a very good poem. I enjoy the tempo as well as the meaning. You are a very thoughtful young person. Keep up the good work. Also, beautifully said.

I remember you spoke this one at that spoken poetry contest thing at school instantly thought it was amazing. It's even better said. Great meaning if only it were possible but of course man is not capable of such things.
There is not enough space or time to truly let the song unwind

Awesome Taylor! We must need this spend some thing lonely and think about this. Its really similar as happening in this world. We must need to lend hands to the people. When we start helping to other people. We will release our pain
