    Default Mind is a battlefield

    Hope you all enjoy

    The world of my mind
Close to been split in two
    Valleys of love and fear
    No one is let through

    Keep it all locked away
    Hidden from my self
    Never to be shared
    Effecting my mental health

My mind is a battle field
    an endless war of emotions
    Destructions of memories
Sink to the bottom of imagined oceans

    Emotions so easily confused
I can't even trust my heart
    My mind has been useless
    After conflict tore it apart

    Tried picking up the pieces
Like a jigsaw off the ground
    But the pieces are missing
    Never to be found

My mind is a battle field
    an endless war of emotions
    Destructions of memories
Sink to the bottom of imagined oceans

    Stuck in the emptiness
Where there once was a crowd
    There voices now gone
But yet my mind is so loud

    Drown out my own thoughts
    With sounds not my own
    In my chaotic mind
    Sits the empty throne

My mind is a battle field
    an endless war of emotions
    Destructions of memories
Sink to the bottom of imagined oceans

At Ali Morrione's thread "Can't Think About Tomorrow" I mentioned The The and now I'm reminded of them (or rather him, it's actually one man) again. His brilliant album from 1983 is named "Soul Mining" and that's what you're doing here too. A painfully good description of an inner conflict. Good job!!
