1970s or early 1980s song about Coal. Was around the same time of a UMWA stike

I would like to know the name of the song or the singer. Here is a few of the lyrics I can remember about the song.


Mr Peabody you better turn out the lights and save your coal. Taft and Hartley are going to be up all night.

Reminds me of John Prine's song, "Paradise" (1971).

I promise you it is not the song Paradise. I am from the area that the song Paradise talks about and know the song very well. It is not the song sung by John Prine.

My next wild guess is “KEEP YOUR DIRTY LIGHTS ON” by Tim O’Brien and Darrell Scott (not sure about the year)
