    Default Symptoms

I figured I'd post something darker this time.

    "Tear me apart
    Pierce straight to my heart
    I'm fine with being
    Just another casualty

    But make it brief
    I want the most relief
    I'll have it knowing
    We'll never meet again

    When the bottom falls out
    And the means can't justify
    The end you seek
    How weak will you become
    Living with the symptoms
    Of your own demise

    Push me around
    Take the air I breathe
    Convince me I am lost
    And will never be found

    But mark my words
You have yet to know hurt
    I see the symptoms
    Are eating you alive

    When the bottom falls out
    And the means can't justify
    The end you seek
    How weak will you become
    Living with the symptoms
    Of your own demise

    Superstition or intuition
I don't quite know which one
    But I bet you're wishing
You could do it all over

    When the bottom falls out
    And the means can't justify
    The end you seek
    How weak will you become
    Living with the symptoms
    Of your own demise"

Great lyrics. Reads like metal lyrics to me. Just my opinion. Good stuff though.

Doug: Since all my lyrics are stored in text files, all I have to do is copy and paste them.
Kerri: Hmm, so I can check "be someone's favorite lyricist" off my bucket list.
BackInBlack: That's not too far from what I intended.
