Romance and tenderness, fun and delight
tacit acceptance, tactful advice
just a soft breeze filling my sails so wide

Briny blue seas! scuffing my tennies so bashfully

Caught in a whirlpool, circling down

She pulls me away from impending doom
Steering me safely into the lagoon

guidance, common intuitive sense
holds me together time and again,

Though she keeps me safe from harm
she's worried and alarmed
you know some of my rust and barnacles are beginning to show

She says they got to go!
no way to tell her no
so she's stubbornly rubbing, chipping and scrubbing
stem to stern
just to make me sparkle and glow

Not to fiddle with your artistic expression, but I'd consider changing happy to an adverb such as happily. Or stick an and between happy and satisfied.

Though it feels a bit long, I love that I can picture it in my head!
