Fooled into love
Deceived by emotion
The only light coming from the fire
Shrieking at the bottom of the dark steps descending into Hell

Circular thought creating more pain and torment
Nothing to alleviate the agony of loss
And the falling apart of a world

A world created with lies
And torn apart time after time
A dry wind blowing over the dust
Of an empty wilderness

Lost in confusion and abandoned by hope
Clouds of poison raining into Heaven
