    Default Crimson Man

    (Vs)
    I wield a sword with fierceness;
    stained with the blood of tyrants.
    With my cold sharp steel,
    I kill with skill;
    striking down in silence.
    They never see it coming
    die right where they stand
    They call me
    call me
    the cruel crimson man

    (Ch)
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Blood stains on my hands
    The cruel crimson man
    Protector of my promised land
    I will show no mercy
    Let the enemy curse me
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Cruel crimson man

    (Vs)
    Me and my band of brothers
    that I lead in all our quests,
    are trained to the hilt;
    the blood that we've spilt;
    is worthless at best.
    Vanquishing all invaders
    that infect the motherland
    I am
    I am
    the cruel crimson man

    (Ch)
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Blood stains on my hands
    The cruel crimson man
    Protector of my promised land
    I will show no mercy
    Let the enemy curse me
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Cruel crimson man

    (Bridge)
    Put on your armor
    saddle up your steed
    I'll pierce it; steal it
    my sword; you'll feel it
    I will make you bleed

    (Ch)
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Blood stains on my hands
    The cruel crimson man
    Protector of my promised land
    I will show no mercy
    Let the enemy curse me
    I'm the cruel crimson man
    Cruel crimson man

    Somehow I hear a little black sabbath in this. The lyrics are simple, and could easily fit that formula. However as I read this, it doesn't quite...capture me. But the flow is definitely there, the chorus is catchy and rhyming. If you have music to this, then that's already saving point. I feel as though you're missing some provoking lines into this " the cruel crimson man" sounds as if you were singing this to a baby. But if that's your intention, then I understand.

    Thanks for giving it a read Eccer, it's appreciated. I'm not sure what you mean though..This is a heavy metal song, sang with angst and forcefulness, and I couldn't see it being sang to a baby. I'm not sure you grasped what the wording meant or maybe the genre style. He's crimson, because he's bloody...lol. the last song I would wanna traumatize a child with, is about a cruel bloody man. Thanks again for the comment and input. I'm experimenting a lot nowadays and all views and comments are important.

    I like the way your verses lead into your chorus. I kept thinking this could be in a movie about Vikings.
