I didn't watch the show... but after I heard her perfomance on egw eimai egw I looked for all the songs she sang there. Go emilyyyyy !!

You know what makes this interpretation so unique?
This song didn't need a great voice, it needed emotion.
She's building the song till the end and at 2.03, just before Remos presses the button,
this 1 second of silence plus the 2 times of the use of "καί":

"σαν και
και εμένα"

That's what gives chills to a Greek heart and that's what makes Remos decide for her.
