    Default Your Rock Don't Roll

    .

    <> = Instrumental {just trying to avoid some clutter}

    (Verse 1 & 2)
Well you think you know it all
About me like you're a crystal ball
But you're a mile away from real
And you can't even cut the deal....

When I crack a new deck
    All you do is rubberneck
    And it just looks sick
    Like a *********-** ****

    <>

You try 'n bust a move
    But I own the groove

    <>

    (Verse 3)
Plug in your brain and see me plain
If you can get past the drain
    Of your selfie head game
Now listen hard while I tell you again

    (Chorus 1)
I'm the Rock in your roll
    The green in your bankroll
I'm the pusher with your fix
And I wrote all of your tricks

    <>

    Do your trick show
    I'm your fix gigolo

    <>

(bridge to chorus 2 and long outro)
    I made your tricks
    I am your fix....

I'm the licks in your sticks
    When you fake a drumroll
    Like you don't already know
    Without me you're a no-show

    <>

    (repeat chorus 1)

    <>

I'm the rock in your roll
    Gigolo ho
    <>
    You got no shame
    All game no go
    <>
    Read the poll
    <>
    Your rock don't even roll
    <>
    ....
    ...
    ...

Another experiment. Istarted out early this morning listening to an epic Viking war song, then read a few song lyrics here under 'new posts'....from there to Joan Jett, QOTSA and then a stoner song (not my fave genre, was an accident).

Forget the banger vocals ^ it was the guitars @ 1:55-4:50 and >5:35. Sorry for taking the **** route but it just rolled out like that.

THIS IS NOT about anyone that I know personally at this time

    Thank you for that?

I think you need a hug.

Oh! It's a question! Which demands an answer!

It's different. Which is good. Which makes me like it. I'd really like to know what the censored words are in verse 2.

Thank you BinB, after reading it again this morning i felt like there isn't enough there, it needs more. But that's all i've got.

I was a little too embarrassed to even give a leading hint about the censored part, I really don't ever get that crude. The hyphenated part is 'shriveled-up'.....I'm sure you can get the last word from that plus the rhyming aspect.

Btw, I've written lots more poetry than song lyrics and I believe that I'm a lot better at poetry

Yeah, the censored line is a mystery to me too BinB,
otherwise I am astonished and then again not about this Experimental Mystery Tour
I like that, Teshka. You take the bull by the horns and won't let go!
Must admit, it's not one of my favourites you've written, but that comment of mine
    is totally unimportant.
Made me curious to listen to these epic Viking verses too.....

Thank you amaryn yea this is not one of favorites either so no prob on that

I've probably done too much 'experimenting' recently but I haven't figured out how to change that yet.....maybe soon.....

Thanks so much again everyone for reading and taking the time to comment It's always a pleasure to interact both ways in the lyrics and poetry sections

P.S. amaryn, it turns out that I'm intolerably embarrassed about that **** phrase, I just don't do stuff like that in public, so I'll probably edit that line....but just as a clue, it refers to impotence......as the (fictional) object of this thing is fake and incapable in every way that I view him.....or 'them' bcs really it's a collective slam at all of the fake/sacharine/painted-up charlatans that pretend so well to be something that they're not.

And once again for good measure, this is NOT about ANYONE that may read this

Hahaha! Don't edit. It's too brilliant.

Btw: I think your comment about interactive action to make BOTH lyrics review and poetry threads work (better) is
    extremely important.
I have been amazed that amongst others also my poetry (though mostly aforisms this year) isn't read anymore. It is most frustrating.
When ppl spend many hours a week/ a day surfing and on the social media it seems odd they refer to "no time".and "too busy"..
Makes me kind of sad folks.
    And what about this:
/Yesterday I read that only 7% of parents cares anymore to play with their kids: social media are more fascinating (!!!)
I like to use the oldfashioned line: "where'zz the world coming to??"

    No hard feelings

Just let it ride. And I'd even say, replace the hyphenated-splats with the first two words, so most people can figure out and won't have to ask.
... koz from what I've seen, the Rap section can get a lot more "colorful" than that.
