Sto vouno mia voskopoula evoske ta'rnia
Kai pernai enas levendis me ten kali kardia
Kai pernai enas levendis me ten kali kardia
Then mou les kali mou kori ti zetas etho
Then mou les kali mou kori ti zetas etho
Ehasa ta provata mou kai vyika na to vro
Ehasa ta provata mou kai vyika na to vro

    My condolences, EiEiOhh.

Unfortunately there are too many different versions in Greek folk music.
Since I can't find the one you're looking for, I can only suggest you a couple of songs
that speak about the same theme and may have the same music with the one you're looking for.

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

It's the music of the second vid with different lyrics.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

Hey.. You're right.. I didn't notice that.. I think he tried to make it 'his own'. It's no the way Yiayia used to sing it
