@Teshka About Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams

@Moonrider Great set, newest to oldest

Amethyste I just listened to your 3 songs.... totally forgot to check them before i posted..... I keep forgetting how much i like the voice of Journey's lead singer. He seems to sing so effortlessly and sometimes i wonder if he ever really lets go.....but it seems like he may have touched his upper limits at the end of that live performance
    3 great oldies, thank you!

Default The Commitments - Mustang Sally

    @ Amethyste:
Supertramp - Another one I completely forgot. Niiice!
Eagles - That video's "not available in" my country. This one is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snPgFNMCXBs
Journey - Just some good solid rock there my friend.

    @ Boo:
    Yep! Weird!

    ____________

This set of mine is all covers, by a "movie band" that made some pretty good music...

Andrew Strong, aka "Deco" on lead vocals (original song by Mack Rice in 1965, Wilson Pickett in 1966):

PS: Don't miss "Animal" (the drummer) in the movie clips... 1:35... 2:03, 2:25, 2:30

Default The Commitments - I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)

I think Maria Doyle (Kennedy) ("Natalie") did a really nice job with this 1967 Aretha Franklin classic:

    Hey!
    Ooh you lookin' good bay-bay...

I wanna tell you a story,
    Every man oughta know:
If you want a little lovin',
    You gotta start real slow.
She's gonna love you tonight now,
If you just treat her right, now...

    Oooh squeeze her real gentle,
    You gotta make her feel good;
Tell her that you love her,
Like you know you should now.
An' she'll be glad every night,
    If you treat her right.

    If you practice my method
Just as hard as you can,
    You gonna get a reputation
    As a lovin' man now,

    That you treated her right.

    Hey Hey Hey Hey!
    Hey Hey Hey Hey!
    Hey Hey Hey Hey!
    Hey Hey Hey Hey!
    Repeat.
Ad lib. Just feel the love. .....

Editing that post to add new songs is already very time-consuming, and it's gonna get way worse. Thus, as of tonight, that looooong list will be removed.
(But I'll save a backup copy of the raw code, plus a spreadsheet copy... for posterity if nothing else.)

De nada amigo, siempre me gusta. Always my pleasure.
Just so you know, the movie is mostly a comedy. And the language is really rough. But it's a really FUN movie!
But good luck finding it... it's a cult classic, currently out of production, and a good-quality DVD isn't very easy to find. Netflix has in their list, but not available, and a search on Hulu turned up nothing.

    But............

Man, I'd say that's your best "ballad set" yet. And Giant - I'll See You In My Dreams was an awesome finish.
I wonder what DailyMotion's secret is... tho my ears they put a much better "finish" on audio uploads than Youtube does. Their "380" always sounds great.

Default ZZ Top - Legs (original full-length release)

An old buddy of mine used to laugh when I pulled this one up but he just didn't know exactly why I loved this particular song.

I honestly can't think of a guitar duo I like more than Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill.

    ... Every time she dances
    She knows what to do
    Everybody wants to see
See if she can use it
    She's so fine
    She's all mine
    Girl, you got it right...

    Oh I want her
Sh*t I got to have her
    The girl is alright
    She's alright
