Solved: Oldies song this theme song is based off of

I can't remember what song it is based off of, but I know it is an oldies song. Hopefully somebody can pick it up pretty quick because this is driving me crazy.

You're probably thinking of either "I love the Mountains (Boom-De-Yada)" or "Heart and Soul."

Sounds a lot like Come Go with Me by the Del Vikings or Heart n Soul by Jan n Dean or something by a girl group from the early '60s.

With less counterpoint and more harmony, could also be (almost as famous as one of our MODs )

Lollipop by the Chordettes is exactly the one by the girl group from the early '60s I was thinking of. That's the one it sounds most like. It also brought to mind the Lymon hit.
