My love is a Full Time Thing
It takes everything
It takes a wedding ring
My love is a Full-Time Thing
I don't want no little white lies
No excuses, no alibis
I don't want you down on your knees
Half-hearted apologies
I want a lover, I want a friend
Someone who'll stay with me til the end
I want somebody who will stay the course
Stay on the right side of the Force
My love is a Full Time Thing
It takes everything
It takes a wedding ring
My love is a Full-Time Thing
solo
I won't tolerate you slipping around
Making time on the other side of town
I won't take it, you know it's true
When I'm giving it all to you
I want trust, please understand
I'm doing everything I can
You've got a one-man woman
I want a one-woman man
My love is a Full Time Thing
It takes everything
It takes a wedding ring
My love is a Full Time Thing
My love is a Full Time Thing
It takes everything
It takes a wedding ring
My love is a Full Time Thing
If you ever thought of leaving
Baby, I would go crazy
I couldn't live without you
Guess I would lose my mind
Yes, it's true
All I've Known Is You
It's too late now to change it
I'm so in love with you
If you went and found another
Nothing could hold me down
My life would be so empty
No one could satisfy me
Yes, it's true
All I've Known Is You
You're everything I care for
You're everything I do
I don't recall what it's like without you
You are my all, and I'm mad about you
You are the one, you were always with me
You are the one, and you're staying with me
solo
People try to get between us
Be wary of so-called friends
They're jealous of what we have
We weren't meant to be alone
Yes, it's true
All I've Known Is You
It's too late now to change it
I'm so in love with you
Yes, it's true
All I've Known Is You
You're everything I care for
You're everything I do
It's not Christmas
It's not New Year's
It's no holiday at all
As I sit here by my telephone
Waiting for your call
It's only Tuesday
It's nothing special
Another night since you've been gone
But it's a Rough Night
To be alone
It's not your birthday
Our anniversary
I checked the calendar again
The clock says 7:30
It's my only friend
It's just a Tuesday
So ordinary
Another evening on my own
But it's a Rough Night
To be alone
It's a Rough Night to be alone
With just your memory to rely on
I count the weeks and the months you've been gone
Sitting here reaping seeds that I've sown
solo
It's not Christmas
It's not New Year's
It's no holiday at all
As I sit here by my telephone
Waiting for your call
It's only Tuesday
It's nothing special
Another night since you've been gone
But it's a Rough Night
To be alone
It's a Rough Night
To be alone
So many times, I thought I was in love
Just to have my bubble burst
You came along, our love is strong
Honey, you're the first
The first to satisfy my needs
You've made my life full
Our love is Undeniable
When I'm feeling down, it brings me back to life
Just to see your loving smile
You touch my lips, you take my hand
And hold it for awhile
The way you understand my moods
It's so beautiful
Our love is Undeniable
I know it's hard to be friends and lovers
But, baby, you've made it work
We've got the best of both worlds
We've got it all
There'll come a day we'll leave this world
Having spent our lives together
But love never dies, we'll still go on
In heaven forever
The last to satisfy my needs
You've made my life full
Our love is Undeniable
Our love is Undeniable
Krissy Taylor was the sister of supermodel Niki Taylor. Krissy died when she was 17. Her mother wanted someone to write a song about her.
Krissy, you were the one with the angel smile
a 6-foot beauty, a woman and a child
Even though you're gone, you still live on
You live on in our hearts and in our dreams
Krissy, you were a queen of the fashion world
A country music fan, a redneck girl
Cruising in your Chevy truck, line-dancing in your jeans
You live on in our hearts and in our dreams
Krissy, we're going to miss you
You know how much we love you
Krissy, your memory goes on and on
And on and on and on
solo
Krissy, you could charm the stars, hypnotize the moon
A natural girl, fresh as the month of June
Even though you're gone, you still live on
You live on in our hearts and in our dreams
In our dreams
In our dreams
My friends married young
I went on alone
Now the change has come
I'm looking for a home
I told you about
The secrets in my life
I can't live without you
I want you for my wife
I want Somebody To Love
I want Somebody To Love
My friends settled down
Freedom was my choice
Now I hear the sound
The longing in my voice
I want Somebody To Love
I want Somebody To Love
I've seen 'em come and go
So many times
But if I let you go
I'll lose my mind
Lose my mind
Some people don't approve
They don't understand
How a woman like you
Could fall for an older man
I Want Somebody To Love
I Want Somebody To Love
I Want Somebody To Love
I Want Somebody To Love
It's a hard day's night
That glaze comes over her eyes
I know what it means
I've got to keep her satisfied
She's got ESP
She was born to hypnotize
She's got Patty Loveless Eyes
They glow in the dark
I swear, they twinkle and shine
She knows what I like
I really love her sexy ways
They're brown and they're blue
They never fail to surprise
She's got Patty Loveless Eyes
She can't sing a note
But she likes country music
Plays it on the radio
She takes me down
To Nashville every summer
And I kinda dig the show
She knows how to get what she needs
I crumble when she cries
She's got Patty Loveless Eyes
solo
She can't sing a note
But she likes country music
Plays it on the radio
She takes me down
To Nashville every summer
And I kinda dig the show
She knows how to get what she needs
I crumble when she cries
She's got Patty Loveless Eyes
Patty Loveless Eyes
Patty Loveless Eyes
Patty Loveless Eyes
I Can Make It
I can take it if I really try
I Can Make It
I don't need no reason why
All my life
It's been the same
A long and hard road
A never ending game
I have won and lost
But I just won't give in
No matter what the cost
I'm gonna try again
I Can Make It
I can take it if I really try
I Can Make It
There's no use in asking why
There's a beginning
With every end
I've got to reach out
If I'm going on
Beyond the yesterdays
I've got to be strong
The future lies ahead
I hear it calling me
Raising me from the dead
To my destiny
I Can Make It
I can take it if I really try
I Can Make It
I don't need no reason why
I Can Make It
I can take it if I really try
I Can Make It
There's no use in asking why
I go looking through our pictures
Taken many years ago
I'm reminded of
Your gentle, loving ways
So many things are different
And some things never change
They're like they were
In those good old days
It's just Like Old Times
When we were young
I think we've only
Just begun
Though the memories may haunt me
As I watch two lovers age
I wouldn't trade one minute
From today
Cos there's one thing I'm sure of
I can count on you
Your love will always
See me through
It's just Like Old Times
When we were young
I think we've only
Just begun
It's just Like Old Times
When we were young
I think we've only
Just begun
I sang your lyrics, don't know the tempo you had in mind,I sang it slow/med. It works real well.Being a drummer,it's hard to get a "song" going without a band, but I've got the rhythm to know how a song should or could go.Very Cool,I like it alot.
We're Sailing Out with the morning sun
I've been down for too damn long
It's all been done
There's nothing more to say
We're singing songs
That have to be sung
And they have to be sung this way
We're on the comeback trail today
So if you feel like coming
I'd like to have you along
We're the kind of people
Who don't belong
Said if you feel like coming
I'll make some room for you
You just tell me that you do
We're Sailing Out to a different way
I've got freedom on my mind
There's gotta be something
Somewhere down the line
Dreaming dreams
That I thought were dead
It's good to be alive
We're determined to survive
solo
So if you feel like coming
I'd like to have you along
We're the kind of people
Who don't belong
Said if you feel like coming
I'll make some room for you
You just tell me that you do
You just tell me that you do
If I Have To Be Alone
I don't wanna live in the city
If I Have To Be Alone
I don't wanna think it's a pity
But I'd rather have the wind going down on me
I feel it in my face and I know I'm free
You shouldn't even think I'd leave my country home
If I Have To Be Alone
If my life is not too long
I don't wanna die on a blue day
If my life is not too long
I don't think your money can help me
But I'd rather have the wind blowing down on me
I feel it in my face and I know I'm free
You shouldn't even think I'd leave my country home
If I Have To Be Alone
I feel the city's closing in on me
I only wanna know I'm free
solo
If I Have To Be Alone
I don't wanna live in the city
If I Have To Be Alone
I don't wanna think it's a pity
But I'd rather have someone to sit beside
Rather have it all than be denied
I couldn't bear to think of living on my own
If I Have To Be Alone
I'd rather have someone to sit beside
Rather have it all than be denied
I couldn't bear to think of living on my own
If I Have To Be Alone
Once again, good work. You know how to write songs, that's a fact.I again, sang your lyrics.Only suggestion I could offer you is to place commas in your verses,to break up the words, making it easier to sing or recite.But......I could be wrong!!!!!!
He was right, I was wrong
I was going, almost gone when you came
He was up, I was down
I was broken, on the ground when you came
Now I'm with you every morning
And I'm with you every night
I'm feeling So Much Better
Now that love is in my life
He was good, I was bad
It was all I ever had in the world
I was lonely and afraid
The mistakes I thought I made wouldn't go away
But now you touch me every morning
And I love you every night
I'm feeling So Much Better
Now that love is in my life
I'm feeling So Much Better, believe me
I never thought I could make a stand
I couldn't find nothing to believe in
And no one to understand
He was right, I was wrong
I was going, almost gone when you came
Now I'm with you every morning
And I'm with you every night
I'm feeling So Much Better
Now that love is in my life
Now you touch me every morning
And I love you every night
I'm feeling So Much Better
Now that love is in my life
I'm feeling So Much Better
Now that love is in my life
I see them everywhere
In the malls and on the street
They wear them funny pants
Flip flops on their feet
They love to show their calves
Their brand new tattoos
Just look the other way
They're laughing at you
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
They wear their sunglasses
In the middle of the night
Like genies from a bottle
Blinded by the lights
They love to shave their heads
They've been this way for years
They drive their SUVs
Cell phones in their ears.
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
How they get their women
I'll never understand
I guess they've redefined
The nature of a man
Music
I see them everywhere
In the restaurants and bars
They wear them cargo shorts
They dress like porno stars
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys with sunglasses up on their heads
Leggy Boys
With them backward caps
Leggy Boys
With them stud earrings

Jim....I could have wrote this myself, which from me,high praise!Regarding "how they get their women"I can only think,BIG money.Check out The Real Housewives of Orange County,I think you describe Alexis's husband to a "T".Seriously,if you do ever watch this show(Bravo Channel)get back to me and let me know. You could have written the song after watching!!!Keep up the good work and keep those rhymes rhyming!
Very nice,Jim.I always attempt to sing the lyrics that I "review".I'm always curious about what tempo the writer had in mind.I sang this moderate speed and found that after a few tries,if I left out the words "when you came",I could put together a nice singable tune.Anyhow, nice lyrics, keep on rocking.Doug
