They tried to hide the truth
But I uncovered it
What was presented to me was misinformation

But I stood up to them
What was presented to me were scare tactics
For too long I believed in what I saw

What was presented to me was lethal
They tried to rob me
But I caught onto them
What was presented to me was a false sense of security
For too long I believed in what they talked about
For too long I believed in what they did
For too long I believed in them

Yes, I was blind to what was in front of me
I felt that things weren't the way they seemed to be

It seems, when reading your poetry/songs that you warn us to be aware of our world around us
and the X ways in which Some , newspapers, authorities and educators are trying to fool us.
It has happened often indeed and Snowden was needed to reveal things we didnot dream of.
Had the USA caught him, they'd probabbly brainwashed him untill he'd become a spy for them, Jesus!

Keep on going and the more eyeopeners the merrier.
