SOLVED: Trying to identify this love song from the late 70's or early 80's.

I am trying to identify the artist/title of this song from the late 70's or early 80's. I remember hearing it on the radio quite a bit as a kid, and I have heard it playing over the speakers in some pharmacies and grocery stores that play music from that era. It is kind of a slower type of love song. The chorus is "la laaaaaa la la la la la la." This is repeated throughout the song by a male singer, and the song ends with this same chorus, and then fades out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
