Is the song specifically about people who are lonely because they have not been able to find a place in society?

Or is the song open to many different interpretations because the words in Greek are so "metaphorical" (I can't think of a better word than "metaphorical" - I think you'll know what I mean by this word.)

In other words, could the song also be interpreted as a song about people who are not "outcasts from society", but simply lonely because, for example, they are orphans with no family and haven't been able to find anyone (lover, friend, etc.) for companionship in their lives?

Please help me (us) to understand this song better.

In Greek we do not change the order of the verb in question, thus:
Αυτό το τραγούδι, είναι πρίν να αλλάξει ο Τόλης ή μετά;

Απάντηση: Είναι πρίν αλλάξει. Άλλωστε η αλλαγή έγινε, επειδή σταμάτησε να συνεργάζεται με μεγάλους συνθέτες και στιχουργούς.

Η προσωπική μου άποψη διαφέρει....
Δεν πιστεύω πως πρέπει να γενικεύουμε, ο Βοσκόπουλος έχει συνεχή δισκογραφία 50 χρόνια.
Αν ξεκινήσουμε να χωρίζουμε "το πριν με το μετά" τότε πιστεύω πως τραγουδιστής Μητροπάνος ΔΕΝ ΥΠΗΡΧΕ πριν τον Τόκα... κάτι τέτοιο θα μηδένιζε όλα τα τραγούδια που είπε ο Μητροπάνος στην αρχή της καριέρας του. Άδικο και άτοπο!

Γιατί μπορεί η "Ρόζα" να είναι κατά Μικρούτσικο "Το απόλυτο ζεμπεκικο" αλλά και η "Κυρά ζωή" έχει χορευτεί από πολλούς!

You guessed right.
Well I actually meant the whole "Parea m' ena ilio" album, in which music is written by Marios Tokas.
Greeks consider these kind of albums that they "belong" to the composer rather than the singer.

And of course the "Zebekiko tou archagellou" is the song I like most from this Lp, the majority though I guess prefers "Ta ladadika".
