I heard this male singer type song in Starbucks today, it was mellow, moody, with a more complicated guitar strumming pattern in the background. It was a fairly moderately-paced song, not very slow, and the chorus sounded like (I could definitely be wrong) "hold me safe inside your arms" with the notes for hold and me dragged out, like "hooooold meeee." The chorus melody is close to CBABBGA, with C and B being the hold and me parts. There was also a fairly lengthy guitar introduction. It's pretty simply produced, just sort of indie sounding, not a lot of things going on besides guitar and vocals. The singer didn't sound overtly foreign, i.e., I assumed it might be an American man, but I wouldn't be surprised if that turns out not to be true.
