Need help figuring out song title

Heard the song on 1/12. it was playing on the raido on one of the new music stations. I'd classify it as a pop song. the only lyrics i can remember went something like "strange and getting stranger" though i could be wrong about that too. Seems likea long shot but I figured I'd give this a try.

Try "Stranger Strange" by Augie March

Checked it out, but thats not it. it was quicker paced and sounds more like something ellie goulding style or something similar to that. Thanks though.
