Everything and More?

I played music with folks back in the late 80s/early 90s. I played a song back then but I can't identify it now. I don't know if it was something made up by one of us or simply something I'm searching wrong on the internet. I don't remember all of the lyrics but it goes something like this:

What would you say, If I were to sing you a love song
Would you believe, every word I'd say
It's hard for me to find, the perfect words to describe
The way I felt, when you took my breath away

chorus:

When the sun doesn't shine, I don't notice

You'd think with that much of the lyrics I'd be able to find it, but I've tried over the years with no luck. Any help is very appreciated.

The lyrics do not ring a bell but I am betting dollars to doughnuts, the title of the song is a girl's name...

More than likely... guess I'll try to contact old friends I haven't spoke to in 20+ years.
