Solved: help needed

Ok I really doubt anyone will be able to get this from my terrible clues but we will see. I was in a bar the other evening they were planning a lot of different music and one song came on I cant get out of my head. The music tune goes du du du du du du du da then there was lyrics along the lines of "take you out tonight make you feel alright" then again would go du du du du du before more lyrics.

I know this is all useless for the genre as well it was a retro song could be 90's I reckon the most similar song would be "uptown funk" by bruno mars that sort of genre I would say.
