    This is driving me crazy! I think the song was a hit. Its a woman singing. It's a song you can dance to I think. And I think it goes something like


    "_______ like yes-ter-day! ______ like to-mo-rrowwwwwwwww"

    The version you heard may have been a woman, since Diana Ross did a cover version of "More Today Than Yesterday", but it's on a 2007 album, and I don't know when it was first released. (The Spiral Staircase version was released in 1969).
