Default What is this...'I like Kee kee kee....'?

    Hi!
There is a song I love, never have known the name of it- and can't buy it until I know who its by!

Its quite a long time ago now- but parts of it have been sampled in another song...Shaft, titled "(Mucho Mambo) Sway" it has the i like kee kee kee right at the start...and bits throughout.

This one there is a kinda spanish/mexican feel to it, its a dance song- from early 90's, the video used to be on the box all the time, twas a woman with a shaved head, and dressed as a cowboy, the song- part of the lyrics as there aren't many of them- (forgive any wrong words!) 'I like Kee kee kee, I like kee kee ' and there is some spanish ' yeehaa!' errm, sort of like that.

I am desperate to find out the name and artist of this song, and will be soo happy if someone knows it!

    xxx

"Mambo Number Five" by Lou Bega?

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Mambo Number 5

    One, two, three, four, five
Everybody in the car, so come on
Let's ride to the liqueur-store around the corner
The boys say they want some gin and juice
    But I really don't wanna
Beerbust like I had last week
    I must stay deep
    Because talk is cheap
I like Angela, Pamela, Sandra and Rita
And as I continue you know
    They are getting sweeter
So what can I do I really beg and you my Lord
To me flirting it's just like sport, anything fly
It's all good let me dump it
    Please set in the trumpet

    Chorus:
A little bit of Monica in my life
A little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need
A little bit of Tina is what I see
A little bit of Sandra in the sun
A little bit of Mary all night long
A little bit of Jessica here I am
A little bit of you makes me your man

And jump and down go and move it all around
Shake your head to the sound
Put your hand on the ground
    Take one step left
    And one step right
One to the front and one to the side
    Clap your hands once
    And clap your hands twice
And if it looks like this
Then you are doing it right

    I do all
To fall in love with a girl like you
You can't run and you can't hide
You and my gonna touch and sky

*sigh* again, thats a MAN! and an awful song i might add! also not a dance song from the early 90's. this is a mainly music song, not loads of lyrics- and just 'I like ke ke kee, I like ke ke' repeated a few times in the song...its very spanish- but thanks anyway?

You are cryptic in your description of the song. Maybe if you clearly stated that the VOCALS are by a female (and not just in the video), your time won't be wasted. *sigh*

I am not sure what song you are looking for but I found a website that has tons of music videos from different eras - ranging from 1970s - 2000. You can search by genres as well. Here is the link.

    I hope it helps!!
