Solved: Anyone got any ideas?

I heard a son on the radio and unfortunately i could not remember the station so i don't have much to go on. But I remember its a country song probably done in the 90's early 2000's. Sung by a woman and i remember sine snippets of the lyrics.
-"tell me why... don't waste my time hes/you're gonna be mine. She sounds a bit like Shania twain but it is neither her or Wyonna Judd. Anybody got a clue?
