This song was in either KISW 99.9 or 107.7 The End in Seattle during the 10 o'clock am hour. I checked their online playlists and it's not on either, but I'm 100% sure I heard it on one of these stations this morning.
Towards the end the song goes "Heyyy ey ey ey ey ey heeeeeey ey eyyey." then it continues to go into a guitar solo with a whammy bar doing the same tune. In between the 'heys' and guitar, it says something like "I'm down on my knees and I'm dying for nothing". If I were to guess the artist I would say Metallica. It reminds me of a lot of their slower rock songs.
Anything would help a ton. I haven't been able to do anything all day because this was so stuck in my head. I tried SoundHound, to no prevail.
