Please!! song from early to mid 80s

hi everyone,

looking for a song from a male singer, early to mid 80s. the song started with some thunder sounds, and then a male voice (the singer) sang very loud "NEVER FORGET", then the melody started... it was a slow melody, and there were a few more "never forget" at the beginning...

no one was ever able to identify that, maybe because is suck at remembering details, but it's all i know... trying one last time here..

do u remenber if it was guitar, piano, or other stuff?

it was on radio mostly, but i think i remember seeing a video of it too although i was quite young. it was the singer on a dark background...

it was in canada. i was about 6-9 yo... i'd say mid 80s...

Ok, so i found a lot of song related to "never forget", one i couldn't listen from F-T-M where the lyrics could correspond to what you describe, if it's a guy:

it was defo thunderstorms... im pretty sure i could still hear the rain

for some reasons when i started to search for that song again i had im mind it was from chris deburgh, but i've search his discography and it doesnt seem its him...
