Four 1990s Pop/Rock songs

in the first song, the only words I understand (perhaps) are in the chorus:
"cry on for a little while" "wash away the pain" "don't go down the train" (?)
As for the second, the chorus is ?????"'s back in town"
The third "There's a party on the freeway" "it's a big party" and so on.
The fourth, "He who controls the media controls the mind"
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Here's my best guesses for the titles:

1 = "Down the Drain"?
3 = "Big Party"?
4 = "Media Madness"?

2 = Still Life - Guy Lombardo's Back in Town (1989)
