    1. Reggae song that was a hit, and still can be used a parties. In fact they still play it. For the range I'd say late 90s - early 00s. All I recall was the beginning. It is a man who's voice sounds similar to Tanto Metro & Devonte, Mr Vegas, Kevin Lyttle. So it's a high pitched voice. That particular high pitched voice starts singing and holding notes for a few seconds each. They sound like "oooooooooooooo" "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" "oooooooooooooo" "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" After each one there is a slight pause, and possibly someone with a deeper voice singing or saying something. The beat sounds similar to the beat used in Lumidee - Uh Oh, Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go

    2. Here's a very vague one. This is Soft Rock, Easy Listening. Either a male group, or a male singer with some backing vocals. I'm not sure of the time frame. Perhaps it isn't an old song as I heard it on 106.7 earlier in the year. Not sure exactly what was said, but it sounds like "since she has to go home" or something similar to that. It isn't fast or slow. The singer's voice wasn't deep either, this part was sung with a slightly higher pitch. Keep in mind that they are not saying that phrase, just a phrase that sounds similar.

ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

For the second one, try the following songs:

"Big Empty" by Stone Temple Pilots
    "Time to take her home,
Her dizzy head is conscious laden."

"Young Girl" by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap
"So hurry home to your mama
I'm sure she wonders where you are
Get out of here before I have the time
    To change my mind"

"My Little Runaway" by Del Shannon
    "She ran away
And I wonder where she will stay
    My little runaway"

Thank you both for your attempts. Unfortunately none of them are the song. However, the closest to it is Young Girl. The tone, and sound of the singer is similar, and so is the tempo. If anything I can see if I can try to provide a personal sample of what it sounds like.

Next wild guesses are songs by Don Henley
    "The Last Worthless Evening"
    "The Heart Of The Matter"
    "The End Of The Innocence"

None of them, but I will send a thank you because 2 of those songs I haven't heard in quite a while and never knew who sang them. The Heart of the Matter, and The End of the Innocence.

The first one reminds me of "Hot, Hot, Hot" originally by Arrow in 1983 (Calypso genre). It was covered by numerous artists and probably most famously by Buster Poindexter (a.k.a. David Johansen) in 1987. One Reggae version of this song I found was by The Merrymen called "Feeling Hot Hot Hot".

OK, I tried my best to do what I remembered about both songs.

    #1 http://vocaroo.com/i/s1xEMQBMllnT
As I said, he is not saying this, but it sounded like this. Melody wise especially.

    #2 http://vocaroo.com/i/s1GC5urztpMM
Same here, but I only catch the beginning of the song whenever it comes on. I think this is the beginning.

I hope these at least give a better idea of how the songs are. As you can tell I am bashful regarding my singing.

    Continued guessing...

For #1, it might be a reggae cover of "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" by Genesis

For #2, try "Alone Again" by Gilbert O'Sullivan

Sorry atmaster, but no. The first one is tough because of the fact that it was the beginning. I doubt it was a cover of any song. I think I will try the artists again who I mentioned.

For the 2nd song, it's just like the way I tried to sing it. The part I remember has 6 syllables, and more than likely was part of the refrain. May even possess the title. I am certain that the first few words sounded like

    "says she has to"
    "since she has to"
    "said she has to"
    "if she has to"

Once again, sounded like. I know that the s sound was in there somewhere.

Not a soft rock song, but for the second try "Jane Says" by Jane's Addiction

Thanks for your efforts atmaster, unfortunately not it. This song has a slower tempo than the one I am searching for.
