Default Need translation for "Great Is The Chorus" by Aaron Shust

Hi! I am the music secretary for a tri-lingual church in Philadelphia. We've been trying to provide the lyrics to our worship songs in all three languages but have come up short on finding some of them, Aaron Shust's "Great Is The Chorus" being one of them. If anyone can help with a Spanish translation to this song, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Aaron Shust - Great Is The Chorus

    Through the ages
    Your songs are ringing
All of Heaven sings around Your throne
    Singing holy
    God Almighty
The One who was and is and is to come

    Chorus
Great is the chorus of the angels of God
The glorious sound of Your name lifted high
Together we worship together we cry
    (You are worthy worthy)
    (You are worthy worthy)

    There's a Savior
    Like no other
Hope abounding for the weak and poor
    Everlasting
    Is Your kingdom
    Jesus You will reign forevermore

    Bridge
    Hallelujah hallleujah
For the Lord God Almighty reigns
    Hallelujah hallelujah
For the Lord God Almighty reigns

    You are worthy worthy Lord
    You are worthy Lord
    We cry worthy Lord
    Worthy Lord

It can't be much of a "trilingual" church if you have nobody bilingual in attendance able to translate the song for you and have to resort to making appeals on the Internet.

I will give it a go...

    Through the ages
    A través de los siglos
    Your songs are ringing
    Suenan tus canciones
All of Heaven sings around Your throne
Todo el cielo canta alrededor de tu trono
    Singing holy
    Cantando santo es
    God Almighty
    El Dios Todopoderoso
The One who was and is and is to come
Quien fue, quien es y quien vendrá

    Chorus
    Coro
Great is the chorus of the angels of God
Grande es el coro de los ángeles de Dios
The glorious sound of Your name lifted high
El glorioso sonido de tu nombre alzado en lo alto
Together we worship together we cry
Juntos te damos alabanzas, juntos gritamos
    (You are worthy worthy)
    Eres digno, digno
    (You are worthy worthy)
    Eres digno, digno

    There's a Savior
    Hay un salvador
    Like no other
    Único
Hope abounding for the weak and poor
Abunda la esperanza para los débiles y los pobres
    Everlasting
    Eterno
    Is Your kingdom
    Es tu reino
    Jesus You will reign forevermore
    Jesús, reinarás para siempre

    Bridge
    Interludio
    Hallelujah hallelujah
    Aleluya, aleluya
For the Lord God Almighty reigns
Porque reina el Señor Dios Todopoderoso
    Hallelujah hallelujah
    Aleluya, aleluya
For the Lord God Almighty reigns
Porque reina el Señor Dios Todopoderoso

    You are worthy worthy Lord
    Eres digo, digno, Señor
    You are worthy Lord
    Eres digno, Señor
    We cry worthy Lord
    Gritamos que eres digno, Señor
    Worthy Lord
    Digno, Señor

OP, you didn't make it clear whether what you wanted was a translation, or an alternative set of lyrics written in a different language (i.e. lyrics that were written to fit the rhythm of the music).

What I provided was a translation. What Darío has just contributed to this thread is not a translation. It looks more like an alternative set of lyrics, written in Spanish to fit the rhythm of the music. There's nothing wrong with that if that is what you wanted.

However, if what you wanted was a mere translation, then be warned: some of Darío's Spanish lyrics have a completely different meaning to the English text.

To give just one example: "en su trono eterno" does not mean "throughout the ages." Rather, it means "in Your / His eternal throne."

How is that a transliteration became a translation and a translation a cover? 'ETERNITY' MEANS 'THROUGHOUT THE AGES' BUT DUE TO RHYME HAS TO BE DESCRIBE THE PLACE OF ETERNITY BY A SYMBOL INSIDE THE REALM

Hi Darío. I don't see any transliterations here on this thread, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say. There is usually no need to transliterate between Spanish and English, because they share the same Latin alphabet. This thread is for a translation, not a transliteration.

Translation and transliteration are not the same thing. A translation means writing something in a different language. A transliteration means writing something in the same (original) language, but using a different alphabet.
