"Sb makes a hole in the water" means "Somebody's efforts were unsuccessful"

"Έκανα μια τρύπα στο νερό" which translated is "Ι made a hole in the water" aka "I succeed nothing"
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

Thank you very much for the knowledge I think is a good translation but well not wht I meant with it. I think is hard to find the exact word.. I remember it very well that it aws just one word.. but well I hope one day I will find. For now I think I will quit this search for it takes me no where. Thank you anyway for the little you could provide me with and for taking your time in explaining.. Efkaristo
