Artist/Title to 80's R&B song - Title of song could be "NO"

Here's what I know. The song was out I believe in the mid-80's. It wasn't a huge hit - possibly only known around the St. Louis area - maybe down South. It's an R&B song sang by a male group. The lead singer is singing in a kinda hi-pitched note. Here's the first verse as I remember it.

After many years of experience, I come to the conclusion that women are very complicated creatures and men are ill-suited to properly interact with them on most any level. While I appreciate your confidence in me, I already have a wife, a daughter and five sisters... I don't rightly believe I could tolerate another person of the female persuasion in my life at this time.
